About the Director:
Born in Baltimore, raised in Finksburg. I moved to Hanover Pa in 2005 from Carroll County, Md. I have been dancing since I was very young. My training started humbly at a rec-council and then I moved on to the Patty Neivert School of Dance. Through the years, I also trained at Ballet Magnificat!, The Alvin Ailey School, The American Dance Festival, and Baltimore Ballet. After receiving a B.A. in dance from UMBC college, I went on to become a member of professional modern dance company CityDance Ensemble located in Washington, D.C. The dream of creating a professional Christian dance company took root back in my tenth grade year before I even knew such a thing already existed. God has been preparing me all this time and I will continue to be His student. I will never stop being a student of dance either. I so enjoy working hard at dance and I have realized that to teach is also to learn. My most recent and current teaching position has been with a wonderfully anointed Christian dance studio in Seven Valleys, Pa, Light of Life Performing Arts. I am married to my high school sweetheart and one day by the Lord's strength hope to adopt an unwanted child. Besides dancing, I like to draw, write, bake, organize, yard-sale, and play games. Above all, I desire to exalt the name of Jesus with my life, my words, my dance. I want to uplift, encourage, and teach anyone willing to dance. And, God willing, develop a professional performance company someday soon made up of lovers of God.
